1. If You Spot a Mistake:
If you see something wrong in one of our stories, you can let us know! You can also email us at newsvritt@gmail.com.
2. Fixing Errors in Stories:
When we find a mistake, we update the story and write a note to say what was changed and why. That way, everyone knows what the correction was.
3. Fixing Mistakes on Social Media:
If we post something wrong on social media, we fix it there too. If we can’t edit it, we post a new correction message so people know the truth.
4. No Blaming People:
We don’t point fingers at any writer or editor. News is a team effort, and so are corrections.
5. Take-down Requests:
We do not remove stories just because someone doesn’t like them. But if we find something truly wrong, we’re happy to fix it or update the story to be fair and clear.
6. Serious Concerns:
If any story puts someone in danger because of personal information, we will look into it quickly. We care about everyone’s safety.
7. Fair Updates:
Sometimes, a story needs a follow-up to be more fair or complete. We do this whenever needed, instead of pretending the story never happened.
